How to prepare for the summer

If you're planning to go on a summer trip, you probably want to get into your best shape. This will take a little bit of preparation, but it will be worthwhile when you look great by the pool! Use this guide to prepare for your summer vacation in the right way:

Eat healthy and exercise

Start as soon as possible when it comes to proper nutrition and exercise. The earlier you start, the better! You do not want to realize that there is 1 week left until the vacation, and to let yourself starve. This is definitely not the way to get results. Start at least 1 month in advance to see improvements. You need to eat 80% of the time correctly, allowing only 1 or 2 "pleasures" per week. If you eat natural foods and make sure you get the protein you need, you will do fine! Of course, you also need carbohydrates, but just make sure you keep the portions under control. You cannot remove them completely, as this is simply not healthy. Exercise at least 3 times a week and choose something that you like. You should like it, otherwise you will not stick to it. If you can create new healthy habits, it would be wonderful! This should be your way of life in the future as well, not just for the summer break.

Take care of your skin

Your skin can easily get burned under direct sun, so it is essential to take care of it. Some people prefer to go to a sunbed several times before real sunbathing, to get used to the sun, but there is no evidence that it actually works. The best thing you can do is to exfoliate your skin several times a week and moisturize it to make it beautiful and elastic. When it comes to your face, make sure you regularly clean, tonify and moisturize it. You should use a gentle scrub for your face once or twice a week, and a mask once a week. You will shine when you are on the beach!

Think about different methods of hair removal

Hair removal is important if you want to look and feel like a goddess when you are on vacation. There are many different methods you can use, from home depilation, to cosmetic procedures such as waxing. It depends on your budget, and how long you want the effect to last. Make sure you decide in advance and book an appointment so that you get advice from the specialist. Stick to the advice you receive. Keep in mind that if you go to a solarium after a hair removal procedure, you can seriously burn yourself.

Plan other beauty treatments

Plan other cosmetic procedures. Plan your budget and think about what is most important to you. Maybe you want perfectly shaped eyebrows or beautiful long lashes. One of the best things you can do is make sure you look beautiful even without makeup. Then you do not have to worry at all when you are by the pool.
