Not many people need a reason to go to SPA treatments. They are quite pleasant in their own way, they can relieve stress, and after that we feel clean and refreshed. However, there are several serious reasons why we should go to SPA more often, and some of them actually affect your health.

1. It can improve your cardiovascular health

Immersing in water up to your neck, is actually a very good cardiac workout. This is because water puts more pressure on your body, and the heart volume increases. In other words, when you are in the water, your heart is working harder, which helps it stay strong and healthy.

2. It can help you fall asleep more easily

Hot water encourages relaxation, which helps you sleep better. This is easy enough to explain. When you put your stressed body in a hot water bath, heat increases your body temperature and relaxes your muscles. This makes you feel more tired and relaxed, which can help you sleep better. Do not fall asleep in the tub, though. This is not a good idea.

3. It relieves pain

As we have just explained, hot water generally helps to relax your body. It can also relieve pain associated with sports injuries such as muscle fever, or even arthritis. If you have pain, but not a broken bone, a SPA treatment will probably help you feel better.

4. It can help lower your blood pressure

According to a study, sitting in a spa bath can lower blood pressure. This is great for those who are at risk of heart disease or suffer from hypertension. Of course, if you suffer from these problems, you should consult your doctor, but studies show that hot water, like a SPA bath, increases heart rate while lowering blood pressure and improving cardiovascular health.

5. It can help with diabetes and weight loss

According to another study, people with diabetes who go to the SPA regularly can lower their blood sugar levels. It also shows that when taking a SPA bath for 30 minutes, six days a week you can lose up to two kilograms a month, without having to change the diet or physical activity. This is not the next popular diet but it still helps!
